Dear American Legion Post 283 Member: This is to notify you of candidates running for Post 283 Officer positions. The election of officers will be on May 7, 2020 between the hours of 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. In order to vote you must have a current paid up membership and show appropriate identification to receive a ballot. Due to the restrictions that we are all under, because of the Covid-19 virus, the following changes will be strictly adhered to for this year’s election of Post Officer positions. 1. One way in - one way out (west side door of hall). 2. No more than 10 people inside the hall at any time. 3. Maintain proper distancing. 4. Wear personal protection if desired. 5. No loitering.
